Dante They do exactly what you want them to. But there is a little bit of a learning curve. They seem quite durable and should hold up for a long time due to the hooks themselves being solid metal, and the wrist straps are extremely substantial and heavy duty. These are not the cheap hooks you see advertised by Chinese companies on twitter or whatever. These are built sturdy. I use them for pullups, but I cant see why they wouldn't be perfect for bar lifts, too.
